The whistleblower system of Dietz GmbH

Dietz GmbH strives to comply with all legal regulations and also our self-imposed principles and guidelines. These include, but are not limited to, our Code of Conduct and Ethics, non-disclosure agreements and other business contracts, and data protection and security. Integrity and compliance are top priorities at Dietz. Nobody is perfect! But we are working non-stop on it, which is why we are making a publicly accessible whistleblowing system available to all interested parties. It provides us with the opportunity to learn about violations of our policies, for example caused by the misconduct of our employees or by our suppliers.

What can be reported?

Violations in the areas of human rights, environment, compliance, data protection, such as:

  • Criminal provisions under German law
  • Occupational health and safety, Minimum Wage Act
  • Discrimination
  • Environmental protection
  • Quality and safety standards for medical devices
  • Data protection and security in information technology

How do I submit a report?

We are grateful for tips that report misconduct, uncover gaps and move us forward. For optimal processing, the note should be as specific and understandable as possible. Answering the five W-questions (Who? What? When? How? Where?) helpful.

Our system provides various ways to file a report and offers the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, affected persons and employees involved in the investigation of the violation. The presumption of innocence applies to those affected until the violation is proven. The various reporting channels are confidential and comply with data protection regulations.

You can submit reports in the following ways:

Reports can be submitted in German and English on the internet-based reporting platform. It is possible to report anonymously. By means of a password-protected and personal mailbox, whistleblowers can support the whistleblower in dealing with the complaint and be informed about the progress of the complaint.

What happens to my report?

Upon receipt of the report, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within 7 days. Subsequently, the Compliance Office examines the indication of whether the suspicion is justified. At this stage, both those affected and whistleblowers can be called upon for any need for clarification. In the event of a rejection, the whistleblower will receive feedback with a justification. If the suspicion is confirmed, appropriate measures are discussed, initiated and followed-up. This is done in cooperation with all parties involved and, if necessary, in exchange with the whistleblower (if possible). The results are usually communicated to the whistleblower within 3 months.
